the first 18,000 Fans. The first series sponsored by
Hormel, came out
in 2004 which featured, Babe Ruth April 30th 2004,
Lou
Gehrig July 5, 2004, and Phil Rizzuto August 3, 2004.
All Statues have the Players number and Yankee Logo on
the base. Babe Ruth, and Lou Gehrig have removable Bats,
that came taped to the base so not to get damaged in
transit. Unlike the 2005 set, the 2004 Statues have the
Dates of give away on the base. In 2005 sponsored by
DiLusso Deli, The Yankees gave away Yogi Berra
April 27, 2005, Whitey Ford June 14,2005, and Thurman
Munson, July 27, 2005. In 2006 Joe
Dimaggio May 17 2006, Roger Maris June 27
2006, and Mickey Mantle September 1, 2006.
