Babe Ruth Esso Gasoline
Promotion Pin. Theses pins where given out by Esso
Stations as a promotion that had something to do with
the Babe Ruth Boys Club. Babe
Ruth did a number of promotions for Esso which included
the Esso Sponsored Boys club. I believe this pin,
and most that you see on eBay are reproductions.
Although the back of this pin looks vintage, it might
have been made to look this way. The pin clasp used on
the back of this pin can be dated with most modern pins
pictured on the left. On the right is a vintage pin
clasp from the time period of the 1920/30s. As soon as I
get more information I will post it.
