 Commemorating the 100th anniversary of professional baseball in 1969, Major League Baseball introduced the MLB logo. The logo was to be placed on all officially licensed products, thereafter. Campbell's in conjunction with Major League baseball helped promote the new logo with Campbell's Kids Premiums. Twelve MLB collectibles were made available for cash and 4 different labels from Campbell's "Baseball Nine" soups, that feature the Major League emblem on the label.

The 16 page Campbell Kids Baseball Premium Catalogue advertises the "Baseball Nine" soups on page 2 which included; Chicken Noodle, Chicken with Rice, Chicken & Stars, Vegetable, Vegetarian Vegetable, Chicken Vegetable, Turkey Vegetable, Turkey Noodle, and Beef Noodle.

 The twelve collectibles were made available by filling out, and mailing in the order blank provided on page 15. The back cover featured an offer for The Official Centennial Edition of Professional Baseball...The first 100 Years.

The front cover of the Official Centennial Edition paper back, features the new MLB logo. Pictured on the bottom right is an "1869-1969" baseball with autographs that includes; Mickey Mantle, Stan Musial, Sandy Koufax, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Connie Mack, Bob Feller, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Ty Cobb and more.

 The $2.50 value was yours for just $1.25 and 4 different labels from Campbell's "Baseball Nine." A team logo was placed in the large white area on the lower left for specific issues to be sold at MLB stadiums.

The June 1969 issue of Boy's Life magazine featured a full page advertisement for the Campbell Kids baseball premiums. The exclusive Campbell offer Illustrated the twelve MLB premiums, and instructed on how to "Get This Swinging Baseball Gear!"

 The bottom of the page had a cut-out order blank, that was to be filled out and sent in with four different Campbell's soup labels, and the specific amount of money for each item ordered. The cover of this issue of Boy's Life, pictures Mickey Mantle and his Son.

As advertised in the June, 1969 Boys Life magazine; "The Sluggers Ring, Every guy in the team will want this ring. Its got the official major league emblem in red, white and blue on a gold-colored metal band. A hidden opening for adjustment to finger size." The Sluggers Ring was available for .50¢ and four labels.

As advertised "We've started your collection of baseball greats with names like Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Ty Cobb. Now You're on your own. Lots of pages left for signatures of your favorite players. The sturdy vinyl cover has Major League Emblem. 130 pages...."

 The third page of the "Hall Of Fame Autograph Book" features the facsimile autographs of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Ty Cobb.

The Big League Tankard was produced by the International Silver Company. The glass bottom pewter tankard features the Major League Baseball Emblem in relief on one side.

 A $12.95 retail value "the trophy like collectors item for big leaguers, little leaguers and fans," was available for $6.95 with four different baseball nine soups. Or, 2 different labels and $6.95 plus a ticket stub from any Major League game.

The Major League Bonus Rookie Baseball Watch has baseball-bat hands on a standard size face, Genuine Steerhide leather band, and the Major League Emblem. Its electronically timed, anti-magnetic, diamond-tooled and shock-resistant.

The Swiss made watch reads "1968 © Major League Baseball Promotion Corp." along the bottom of the dial. The back "Base Metal Swiss." A 19.95 value for 4 different labels from Campbell's '"Baseball Nine" Soups and $6.95.

As advertised in the Campbell Kids Baseball Premium Catalogue:"Every day is Ladies' Day when they own this beautiful charm bracelet. A ball, a bat, a glove, and the major league emblem decorates the gold-colored metal chain."

 The "Ladies Day" Charm Bracelet measures about 7 inches long and was made available for .50¢ with four Campbell's Soup labels.

"You can sport this elasticized belt everywhere...with your uniform, at school, at play. Red White and blue with Major League Emblem on a bold metal buckle. Junior belt fits up to size 32.

 Get the Big League Baseball Belt for 4 different labels from Campbell's "Baseball Nine" Soups and $1.25. Or, 2 different labels and $1.25 plus a ticket stub from any major league baseball game."

   The 1969 Campbell Kid's Day promotion enabled children 14 years of age and under the opportunity to see a Major League game. With 9 labels from Campbell's "Baseball Nine"-the soups with the Major League emblem on the label, you could send away for a ticket.

When your ticket arrived it came with an Official Campbell Kid's membership card. New York Yankees, Whitey Ford was the clubs manager, and on the opposite fold was a welcome message picturing Ford.
